The center was established in 1990, initially providing primary health care, emergency services, and a dental clinic. The clinic expanded in several stages and currently includes:

• A gynecology and obstetrician clinic
• A pediatric clinic
• An orthopedic clinic
• An ophthalmology clinic
• A radiology unit
• A medical laboratory
• A GP and ER clinic
• Dermatology
• Cardiology
• Endocrine

The clinic accepts patients of all ages from within the refugee camp and surrounding areas and provides its services to an average of 20,000 patients a year.
